This is a full SOW for ‘Our Day Out’. I have struggled to find resources for this play as i don’t think many schools teach it at KS3. I have created this SOW for a bottom set 5 class with SEN needs. This has lessons focusing on language, inference, structure along with creative writing tasks and homeworks.

Set of lessons built to build confidence in year 8/9 for the GCSE Language Paper 2. This has a crime focus to boost boys engagement and attention. This worked really well and several of the boys improved in their end of year assessment.

I have created a workbook which is for Year 7 and potentially Year 8 to build on their skills towards the GCSE Language Paper 1. I have used Alice in Wonderland, Harry Potter and The Hunger Games as texts to engage the readers. This can be used for all sets but can also be adapted more for SEN.
