36 days worth of morning maths questions (10 each day) A selection of arithmetic questions comprising of all 4 number operations which I used to do with my class every morning. I used them to warm up before a maths lesson and as an AFL opportunity They were originally done for a year 4 class, but with the change in the national curriculum would now be more suitable for year 3 or higher ability year 2 I used these in Autumn term 1. They could also be used as mini tests, 'i'm finished' activities or homework

I developed this resource so that my children could fully understand what is expected of them when they are writing. They can use it to self or peer assess. It gives a breakdown of the TAFF with short explanations to remind the children what the features are. I found it better to use this from the beginning of the year to give children time to demonstrate their abilities, to give me time to collect evidence and I also use it to plug the gaps in their learning. I hope you find it as useful as i do

For and against ideas (persuasive writing)for wearing school uniform UKS2

This is a for and against argument list for the wearing of school uniform. We were doing this as part of our T4W unit on persuasive writing. (You can also access a persuasive letter example for free in my resources) I asked the children in my class to list the pros and cons in relation to school uniform to support their persuasive letter. I got this ready to supplement any ideas they may have missed

This is intended to be used by Senior Leaders. I used this form to track professional development and support given to staff across the year. It is a good way to condense all the info from learning walks/ book scrutinise and any other monitoring and see it altogether on 1 form.

This template is for Senior leaders It is a simple excel document which you can use to track teaching over time (using inadequate/ requires improvement/ good/ outstanding - or adapt with own words). I used it to amalgamate judgements over all areas to get a broad idea of where a teacher was overall and then to track progress.

Year 6. Writing interim assessmnet framework. Guidance/translation of the staements. KS2

After sitting down with my year 6 team to use the interim assessment framework to assess the children's writing, we discovered 2 things. 1) It was going to be a lot of work 2) Some of the statements were a little vague and we had to keep referencing the national curriculum to check - which took more time So, I made this 'crib' sheet, which hopefully makes the writing statements a little clearer and all on 1 sheet (per level) so staff do not have to keep looking forwards and backwards between 2 documents. hopefully you will find it useful too!
