Then they must write out the speech in a full sentence (using speech marks). The first is done for them. Activity 2: Students must give each character a name. Then they must write something the characters are saying to each other in the speech bubbles. Finally, they must write the conversation on the lines. The first one has been done for them. Activity 3: Same as activity 2 but this time the conversation must be BIGGER. Activity 4: A character called ‘Amelia’ must ask Tom a question then respond to his reply. Students must copy out the conversation on the lines provided.
