An exciting scheme of work looking at the distorted style of Picasso and creating a three dimensional relief portrait using cardboard. This pack also contains the design stage and exemplar work explaining the step by step construction process and how to build up different relief techniques.
A perfect resource to introduce students to colour theory. The resource also comes with the relevant worksheet and a quick and easy marking assessment (simply highlight the relevant criteria). Attached at the bottom of the PowerPoint is the most competitive game yet! time students with 30 seconds on the clock and see who can get the furthest down the colour chart!
This project homework has been fantastic in allowing students to flourish in creative independence. It works best when tagged along side a cultural scheme of work and encourages students to widen their understanding by researching a culture of their choice and presenting in a visual way. This project always produces exceptional outcomes with fantastic visual exemplars throughout the PowerPoint. I often allow students 3/4 weeks to complete and ave the option to pair up with a friend! On submission day, get them to present their information to the class to share what they have researched.
