this resource contains 10 challenges linked to the new year 6 maths curriculum. Each challenge is designed to challenge, assess and stretch the learning of the key objectives. At the top of each slide is the direct objective that the challenge matches to. This is an ideal assessment piece as it will test if they really understand and can apply the new national curriculum. these challenges are based on the following objectives: read, write, order and compare numbers up to 10 000 000 and determine the value of each digit round any whole number to a required degree of accuracy use negative numbers in context, and calculate intervals across 0 solve number and practical problems that involve all of the above.
