This bundle is a fanatic introduction to the scientific method. Students are asked to first organize the cards into what they believe is the correct order of the science method. When finished, students compared their ideas to the ones in the video. To close the lesson, I had students work on the final activity in the video, as they made up with their own experiment which follows the scientific method.

In this revision students cover parts of the carbon cycle describe some of the barriers that the body utilizes to protect itself and the pathways of the digestive and respiratory system. This no prep lesson has links embedded to the document so students can read and work at their own pace to find the answers. Great for working on in the classroom or online.

This friendly no prep learning activity has students reviewing mathematical concepts such as ratios, fractions and circle geometry. The goal is to show students that math truly is everywhere while reviewing previous concepts. As a teacher you can also use this as a bonus assignment or an extension project. It requires you to simply post the assignment in your virtual classroom. Or print out the assignment for in person use. The grading for this assignment does follow The Alberta Curriculum for Grade 9 Math. Tasks labeled A are considered grade level and tasks labeled B are above grade level. This Children’s book called “Himmat’s Courage”, explores cultural diversity including a better understanding of different clothing that is worn by some students. In addition, it will explore some of the bullying issues, that first generation immigrant students may face while in school. As a result, teachers will be able to better connect with their students.

Overview: This course has students starting with the basics of monthly budget planning, career planning, post secondary education planning and owning assets. This course is designed to be low prep with very little materials needed. It works well if students have access to a device to research and watch videos. Skills and be utilized from students all over the world. There are direct links to Alberta’s CTF outcomes. Format:Items can be posted on virtual classrooms or printed out for student use.
