NEW GEOGRAPHY AQA A LEVEL - WATER & CARBON CYCLES LESSON 4: Carbon Cycle Changes
Students will cover:
Physical changes in the carbon cycle
Milankovitch cycles
Positive feedback loops
Human causes of changes in the carbon cycle.
The final part of the lesson requires the use of 'An Inconvenient Truth', which you will need to purchase separately.
Planned for a 100 minute lesson.
UK Tourism
A lesson focusing on different places in the UK and the push and pull factors that affect the areas.
Students will then assume the role of working for the council in a DME at the end of the lesson.
Direction and Distance - Map Skills
Students will learn how to read direction and scale on maps.
"Honey I Shrunk The Classroom" activity included to recap at the end.
Sustainable China
A lesson looking at how China can become more sustainable.
Students will focus on Dongtan Eco-city and will then look at how to make their own town/school more sustainable.
