This fully-resourced lesson focuses on the events of cell meditated immunity which specifically initiates the specific immune response. The detailed PowerPoint has been designed to cover the 3.2.4 of the AQA A-level Biology specification which states that students should be able to describe role of T-lymphocytes in response to foreign antigens. The lesson includes: Millionaire Pound Drop game - students will recall previous topics with a low stakes starter game (instruction included) Video and questions activity- to understand the concept of cell-meditated immunity Group/ pair activity - students will use information from the video to create a detailed diagram of the entire process of cell-meditated immunity Application questions- to challenge critical thinkers with real-life scenarios This lesson is estimated to take about 1 hour of A-level teaching time to deliver
