Teachers may use creativity, humour and imagination to develop schemes of work and to plan lessons in order to foster a healthy culture of learning within the classroom and to generate the most effective interactions with pupils. Teachers encourage, monitor and record the progress of individual pupils, and devise and tailor resources accordingly, including technology. They must also keep up to date with developments in their subject area, new resources, methods and school wide initiatives. Teachers liaise and network with other professionals, parents and carers both informally and formally.

Yew Wah International Education School of Guangzhou is a mixed, all-through international school and sixth form form located in Huadong Town in the Huadu District of Guangzhou, China. It was established in 2014.
The school is part of the Yew Wah International Education Foundation. Its curriculum is based on the Chinese National Curriculum, enriched by elements of the international curriculum, and students study towards international qualifications including the Cambridge IGCSE, AS and A Level.The school will soon offer the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme.
