This Powerpoint identifies the skills and qualities required to be a good sports leader. The modules cover Core Values and Qualities of a Sports Leader. Planning a Sports Session. Managing Pupil Behaviour. Motivating Participants. Creating a Session Plan. Role of the Official. What contributes to a Healthy LifeStyle. I put together this power point and have used it successfully for many years while delivering the Sports Leaders Level 1 and 2 Award. The majority of students who have successfully gained the qualification have displayed social & emotional difficulties, Special Educational Needs and behaviour difficulties. The award has enabled them to develop personal confidence and self esteem, improve their communication skills, both verbal and non verbal and increase their fitness and health. Each module is broken down and explained in detail, so that each students fully understands the skills and qualities of a positive sports leader. I was observed by OFSTED during a school inspection and the feedback I got from them was excellent. If you do purchase this Power Point, please do leave feedback.
