This file is a fantastic tool to use with your current Year 6 to see how they are doing in relation to what is expected of them. If you use the 2017 KS2 tests (these can be downloaded from https://www.gov.uk/government/collections/national-curriculum-assessments-practice-materials), you will be able to highlight where your children need extra support either as a whole group or individually. This is a great resource to use as a spelling/reading intervention for children who need to build up a sight vocabulary of key words. The resource allows you to use 5 key words at a time. These words are then randomly selected to create a list for the children to read. If you print off the blank grid as well, the children can write the words that an adult reads to them from the grid.
