History of Labour Party Escape Room - Great for the start of end of term. This is a print and play digital escape room. Every student loves to solve a mystery. This brand new escape room activity will not only improve students knowledge on the History of Labour Party but will hone their problem solving skills, build up their teamwork and leadership skills and allow opportunities to show creativity and resilience.

“Detectives, we have a severe problem on our hands. There’s no easy way to say it, so I’m going to simply give you the facts. At 0200 hours, seven royal artifacts were stolen from the Tower of London. It’s a tragedy, and they must be recovered at all costs!!”
“Now, what I’m about to tell you will be shocking, but we must act fast
before the general public realizes what has happened. While every investigator
in the country works on recovering the artifacts, I need you to collect the
replacement artifacts from secret locations.”

The team quiz is perfect to get students talking about the upcoming General Election and teach them the political basics they need to know to be informed young citizens.
Quite possible our BEST escape room yet!! This escape room comprises of seven challenging and varied escape puzzles which test a range of different skills. In this Parliament Escape each team must work their way through the corridors of power (House of Commons Chamber, House of Lords Chamber, MP’s Office, Number 10 Downing Street, Portcullis House and through the division lobbies) before eventually arriving at the secret location. (Clue: Elizabeth Tower)
A bonus escape is then in place for any team that finishes quickly – This involves working out that the secret code word is BREXIT for the final escape……

Escape The Commons – Removing letters to solve the pair riddles
Escape The Lords – Head into the dungeon of the Lords to solve a cryptic puzzle
Escape the division Lobbies – Just like how a bill turns into a law you need to find the right path from start to finish

The words picked are from the GCSE specifications and are mapped against our GCSE Revision App and GCSE Revision materials.

Print out two copies of the bingo call sheet and as many bingo cards as people playing (pick one of the three sizes)
How to play
Cut up the words on the bingo call sheet and mix them up in a bowl
Nominate a student to be bingo caller and they pick out one word at a time from the bowl and call out the name / show the picture. The bingo caller crosses it off on their call sheet and players cross it off on their bingo sheet
First person to get a line shouts “bingo”
First person to get a full sheet shouts “Bingo and out”
Every Bingo sheet comes with a ’Free Space’
Bingo caller must check they have completed it correctly
To make things harder the bingo caller could describe the key term rather than calling it out.
