Analyse Pie Charts (Differentiated with answer sheet) - Two layouts

(0)
A two-way differentiated activity sheet/worksheet for children to develop their understanding of pie charts. Sheet 1 - 10 Questions focusing on football fans with four segments. Sheet 2 - 8 Questions focusing on comparing two pie charts side by side. One with a sample of 100 people and one with a sample of 120 people. Answer sheets are included for both activities. I have provided two different layouts which also add to the challenge. One has a wider line graph set, the other has a narrower set. This will test children’s adaptability to varying presentations.

Measure and calculate the area of parallelograms and trapeziums (without grid - differentiated)

(1)
Updated to include an interactive PowerPoint and PDFs of the slides for display purposes…more value than before! A fun three way differentiated activity sheet/worksheet that will help children develop an understanding of how to calculate the area of parallelograms and trapeziums, as well as compound/composite polygons. Challenge 1 - Measure and calculate the area of simple polygons. Challenge 2 - Measure and calculate the area of compound/composite polygons. Mastery Challenge - Measure and calculate the area of a large, multi-polygon compound/composite polygon.

Calculate area/Perimeter of polygons - Progression Differentiated (1cm gridlines shown)

(1)
A four way differentiated activity/worksheet that will develop a child’s understanding of area and perimeter. This version has 1cm gridlines shown. Challenge 1 - Calculate the area and perimeter of simple quadrilaterals. Challenge 2 - Calculate the area and perimeter of compound/composite quadrilaterals (divisions present) Challenge 3 - Calculate the area and perimeter of compound/composite quadrilaterals (divisions removed) Mastery Challenge - Calculate the area and perimeter of a huge, multi-compound shape and then the area of the shaded part.

Perimeter, Area and Volume Presentation & PDF (with activities and answers)

(0)
An interactive PowerPoint and PDF file that will guide children through how to calculate perimeter, area and volume. All formulas are coloured so that children can see exactly where the numbers in the worked examples came from. In this presentation/pdf are slides/pages about: Calculating Perimeter Calculating the area of squares, rectangles and parallelograms. Calculating the area of trapeziums. Calculating the area of triangles. Calculating the area of circles. Calculating the volume of a cube. Calculating the volume of a cuboid. Calculating the volume of a triangular prism. Calculating the volume of a cylinder. Answers are provided with the activity slides for ease of delivery and quick feedback. There is a contents page that links directly to the pages you want. Please rate/feedback. I take suggestions!
2016-2018 KS2 SATs Gap Analysis / Question Level Analysis (QLA) Bundle

2016-2018 KS2 SATs Gap Analysis / Question Level Analysis (QLA) Bundle

9 Resources
Included in this bundle are three complete suites of Gap Analysis / Question Level Analysis grids for the 2016, 2017 and 2018 KS2 SATs. Every paper, every question. Grids change colour depending on whether questions have been answered correctly and the grids auto calculate scores, indicating pass/fail or greater depth. Please see individual resources for more details.

Designed to easily fit into an exercise book without folding, this activity sheet focuses on the national expectations for children with regards to 3D polygons. An editable version has been included for you to adapt the activity to your class, if required. Additionally, a robust answer sheet is included. Children will need to: -Name each 3D polygon Identify the number of faces Identify the number of vertices Identify the number of edges

White Rose Summer end of term Assessment Gap Analysis / QLA Year 5 (2021-2022)

Applicable for the 2021-2022 WRM assessments. This resource will save you many hours work when trying to use Assessment for Learning in your class. There are two QLA grids included in one Excel document for help with Gap Analysis. Arithmetic Reasoning Input the data using the marks from the papers and the grid will change colour to show where a child has been successful or not answered a question correctly, or at all. The spreadsheet will auto-calculate how successful the whole cohort has been on particular questions. These are linked directly to the WRM small steps so you can see which lessons and steps need to be revised. 30 children can be entered in this document. The total score thresholds auto-calculate and change colour to help indicate which children are working at approximately an expected standard (EXS) level or a Greater Depth (GDS) level. These thresholds use historical KS2 SATs thresholds to make them as accurate as possible. Please note, some of the cells are locked for editing so that users do not break the spreadsheet functionality. Passwords will not be given out. However, I am more than happy to assist with any adaptations you need. Additionally, I am in no way affiliated with White Rose Maths. No White Rose Maths resources are included in this product. Freely available content is linked to within it.
