This game is a great way to emphasise, assess and observe your students understanding of numbers. CCSS 1NBT.1A is the fluency standard that is recommended. Print and laminate, card stock would be ideal as it will give them a longer lifespan. Use in pairs, small groups or as a whole class. If working in pairs or small groups you will need to print more than one copy! How to play Share the ‘I have’ cards to each student along with the number cards. The student with the first card will read their card. The student with the card that has the number that the previous student described will stand up and read their card. parking creativity can often be challenging. That’s why I created this poster and anchor chart! The descriptive words are often used as prompts or reference. How-to-use I’ve created the same poster twice but in two different shades. The colors/shades may vary depending on the paper, ink and printer you are using. The poster will print on automatic letter size paper. You can change this in your printer setting to print on A3. Making the poster ideal for wall displays. The anchor charts will print 4 to one letter size page. Available in both color options. Simply select the page number you wish to print and enter the required amount. Remembering that 4 to a page will print. Anchor charts are ideal to stick in books and use as a reference guide. Telling the Time - Half Past and O’clock There are 26 slides each with a different time. This would be idea as a review as well as an introduction to ‘time telling.’ What is covered: 26 mixed slides of ‘half past’ and ‘o’clock.’ How to use This can be used as an individual activity or part of a group in a class. Simply click through each individual slide. This was used as part of a live online class and had great results with good feedback.
