Animated Interactive Maths Gameshow - 4 Rules (questions without words) - Functional Skills E3 L1

(1)
Animated Interactive Gameshow Gameshow 1 addition, subtraction, multiplication, division without worded questions These are ideal for use where learners are split into groups and are in competition or as a mock television gameshow. These options worked very well with adult learners. All of the questions have answers. You can choose to go to the answer from the question and then return to the main grid. This way the question can be seen again if required. If you return to the main grid without seeing the answer the question disappears from the grid. This is the best option if learners are in competition and are writing down their answers until all questions have been accessed. There are many different ways to use the gameshows. I have even used them on a 1:1 basis and for practicing calculator use. Also included is a pdf which has sheets learners can use for working out and listing answers. Enjoy. maths numeracy Functional Skills Entry 3 Level 1 Level 2

The worksheet to be filled in by the learners. The info sheet can be given out after discussion of the activity. Split the class into 3 groups. Group 1 is asked to choose a 3 digit number (all different) Group 2 is asked to choose a 3 digit number (2 digits the same) Group 3 is asked to choose a 3 digit number (all 3 digits the same) I used to have 3 envelopes with the answers inside so that I could amaze the learners. I had some good discussions on WHY? maths numeracy Functional Skills Entry 3 Level 1 Level 2 All Mandymaths_TES resources are here
