A whole week of planning and resources, aimed at year 3/4. Linked to the Egyptian book of the dead. The week opens by watching an animated version of the myth. Children then spend the week learning how to structure and write a 5 part action story, using description, showing not telling, suspense and detail. Designed to incorporate lots of shared writing and modelling as a class and in pairs.
