Use this PP and worksheets to engage your students in a fun lesson to understand the Information Processing Model for GCSE PE. The PP includes a nine edited clips of football penalities. Students must map on a goal where they think the ball went using their selective attention skills. Then play the second series of clips to reveal where the penalty went. This PP and worksheet go through all the key terms of this topic in a fun and engaging way. Will the students who play football be better at predicting than those that do not play? Why? What is not relevant information in the videos? Why? How do we improve are ability to save a penalty? The PP finishes with a great link to plenary of a famous tennis story.
