This scheme of work uses the novel My Name is Leon to teach English LANGUAGE GCSE skills. This is not a fully resourced scheme to teach Leon as a Literature text, however may prove a good starting point for anyone wishing to teach it as their GCSE text for Literature. It covers the skills needed to answer questions 1-5 on the GCSE Language paper 1.
