I am a retired teacher who wrote 7 photocopiable books for Teachers and one book for children Union Jack Colouring Book. The 7books covered Geography, History (Medieval/ Tudor/ Stuart), Travel and Transport, Myself and Events (this included diaries), Race Against Time Stories (SATS based), Church Dates for Children plus Nature and Seasons (including Sport). These 7 books have been mainly broken into a number of segments. Challenging the Physical Elements, my Geography book, is complete.

Katie Shortman and Izzy Thorpe are representing GB in the duet competition for Artistic Swimming ( formerly known as synchronised swimming) . They competed together in Tokyo coming 14th. They won silver at this year’s World Championships. Their mothers in the 1980s competed together and are now their coaches. Paul is a community worker, activist and long time campaigner for the British African -Caribbean community in Bristol, England. In 1963 he led a boycott of the Bristol Omnibus Company for refusing to employ Black or Asian drivers or conductors. As an articulate and university educated person he became the spokesman for the boycott. After 60 days they revoked the colour bar. In September Raghbir Singh became Bristol’s first non-white bus conductor In 1964 achieved national fame for refusing to leave the Bay Horse publuc house until he was served. ’ We don’t want you Black people here -you are a nuisance.’ He was charged with failing to leave a licensed premises. Prosecutors alleged he behaved aggressively- witness accounts refuted it. Case was dismissed and barman sacked. His campaigns led to the Race Relations Act in 1965. Moved to Coventry and then London. (Read further career) 1988 received Bristol City Council Community award for Achievement and Services rendered to the Black Community . Returned to Bristol in 1992. 1996 received the Bristol West African and Caribbean Council Community Achievers award. 2006 received One Person Can Make a Difference award. 2007 received Freedom of the City for Bristol 2009 awarded OBE for his services to equal opportunities. 2014 awarded Doctor of Law by University of Bristol ‘for his dedication to fighting for equality and civil rights across Bristol and around the world for over 60 years.’ 2017 received from Lenny Henry Pride of Britain award for lifetime achievement - read judges citation where he is thanked for his courage, principles and determination 2020 Intercity Express Train named in his honour He might even get his own statue in Bristol. Chris is well known for a viral video Angles in Heaven which he performed with activist and percussionist Abby the Spoon Lady. Reached 200 million views on Facebook and 10 million on YouTube. During grade and high school Chris played with various bluegrass, metal and rock and roll bands. To raise money for bills he started to street perform. Elizabeth Rebecca Mitchell is a Jamaican-British singer. She is best remembered for being one of the original singers of the 1970s disco/reggae band Boney M. She became regarded as Boney M’s lead vocalist Aged 11 she moved with her parents to Harlesden in the UK. She has had a long career as a .singer. She auditioned for Hair. She moved to West Berlin to join the Les Humphries Singers for a few years. In 1976 she joined Boney M . The originally group disbanded in 1986. Boney M regrouped in 1986 for a tour in 1987. In 1989 due to personal differences Liz decided to focus on her solo career Liz has been a member of the newly formed group, now known as ‘Boney M featuring Liz Mitchell ,’ for many years. In 1996 she recorded with her husband an Ep of 4 Christmas songs as a special Christmas gift for her fans. Moya is a member of a very successful Irish band called Clannad (See separate notes). In 2000 she published her autobiography called ’ The Other Side of the Rainbow’ where she re-evaluates her life. Moya in 2003 became Goodwill ambassador to Christian Blind Mission (CBM). Her first trip was to Congo-Kinshasa with 5 others. Called off due to civil unrest. In 2003 travelled to Rwanda. In 2005 returned to Congo In 2007 visited Brazil and then travelled to Belize. In 2008 travelled to Tanzania. Performed concerts with other CBM Goodwill Ambassadors from Europe. Moya performs various concerts in aid of charities and groups that work to rehabilitate those affected by drug addiction and alcohol dependency. Vertical farming is where crops are grown on top of each other than in traditional horizontal rows. This is happening both on the land ( indoors) and in the sea. Using less space the yield is higher.
