A set of 10 PowerPoint activities to help prepare your class for the Phonics Screening Check. This is a presentation on the poet, musician and writer, Benjamin Zephaniah. Use it as part of a lesson or for an assembly for KS2, KS3 or KS4. The presentation covers his childhood, early success, world tours, music, children’s poetry and current work. The last part of the presentation includes some interesting questions to provoke discussion and a list of some of his books.
