Enjoy this FREE pack of images to use as prompts for math talk. I use these as lesson starters to to make connections between learning, but they also work well as plenaries or challenges for children who finish early. Consider asking questions such as: “What maths can you see?” “What do you notice?” “What trick is this picture playing?” This is a great resource to promote oracy and support students who are English language learners. Can be used across KS1 and KS2. Slides are tagged with a few suggestions of relevant maths units. None of the images are my own, hence this being a free resource. I struggled to find these types of images to share with students and wanted to have them all in one place. Images sourced from a wide range of sources, including free WRM materials, Diagnostic Questions and Power Maths. I was not able to trace the origins of most images and can remove them if needed. This file contains both a SmartNotebook file and a PowerPoint file
