Perfect for those studying Medieval times or art through the ages, children will find out about the Norman Conquest of England in 1066 whilst practising their fabric artistry skills. Children will plan, design and create a piece of art that represents a section of the Bayeux Tapestry from felt and stitching, learning the skills of stitching and applique and comparing this to the modern day artistry of embroidery.
