The end of the year is not far, so here's a nice quiz for your students to review what they know about France and its culture (History, geography, food, sport, celebrities, brands etc!)
It contains a powerpoint and booklet with 51 questions + answers about France and French culture with:
- 15 general questions
- 36 questions divided into sections (geography, food, celebrities, monuments, music, culture)
- answers at the end
Enjoy! As a suggestion, have your students to work in groups and use the booklet. It's more challenging and creates a good team work at the end of the year.
All the questions are in French and I added the english question if needed.

When we teach beginners in English one of the first lessons is about family and description with the use of the verb BE. How about having the context, the vocabulary and the grammar in just one place with explanations, exercises and feedback?
This flexible resource will help you teach young adults and adults about family, age, personality description and grammar points about the verb BE and adjectives. Teaching grammar and vocabulary to beginners in ESL is not always easy. By the time we complete a Unit, many students will have forgotten important vocabulary and grammar points! So consolidation of the knowledge is absolutely vital!
