In this activity, children will be asked to present their typical day data as a pie chart (with 24 segments, 1 for each hour of the day). Children will then create a key and the write each activity as a fraction out of 24. Higher level children should be encouraged to simplify their fractions. Children working at a lower level can use the version which leaves the fractions as a fraction out of 24. This activity could be completed on the sheet or could be cut out and each element displayed on nice colourful paper.
