Learning and teaching high frequency/ sight words can be a daunting task for both teachers and students. To make it more manageable and compact, I have decided to put the first 100 high frequency words into 32 short phrases/ sentences onto 4 colourful sheets. These can be used for a number of purposes: independent reading, assessment, visual display and support, even games. Can be cut up or used as whole pages. Students record their words (response sheet included) and score points depending on how many letters the word has. The longer the word, the more points it scores.
