KS3 Whole Class Feedback Form
jfello1jfello1

KS3 Whole Class Feedback Form

(0)
This download is a whole class feedback form, for giving feedback to KS3 students. It is aimed at art teachers but could easily be adapted for other lessons as the feedback areas are quite generic. As an art teacher you often find that students across a class or year group have the same misconceptions or struggle with the same techniques. Rather than giving feedback individually, turn this into a feedback lesson; discuss what students have done well, areas of improvement, common misconceptions and next steps. I also use to like highlighting a few students who had worked well on the form as a further discussion point as to what they did well! Add your own slides of completed work to accompany this. There is also a box for ‘key words’ which can be used as extra revision within the lesson. The Power Point is editable, and once the feedback has been added it could be printed as an A4 or A5 handout to be kept in student sketchbooks. Students can then highlight areas of development that they recognise as being important to them. Your download consists of: A one slide editable Power Point A printable PDF Save yourself hours of time, by switching to whole class feedback. Accompany this feedback slide / handout with my evaluation sentence starter prompt.

Weekly Art & Design Task Planner for GCSE / A Level / Foundation

(0)
This weekly art task planner is aimed at students working towards any art based qualification where a final piece or exam based project is required. This resource could also be used for DT or Photography projects. I created this resource when I was completing my Art Foundation and I needed to track my progress and keep a log of what I needed to complete each week. I then adapted this template to use within my own teaching of GCSE Y10 and Y11 classes as well as A Level art. It really helped students to focus on how much time they had left as well as what they needed to complete each week. I found a daily timetable too complicated and preferred to plan out what I could achieve each week, but this download includes a daily and a weekly printable template. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Your PDF download comes with two versions: A Weekly Calendar starting from Jan 24 to Jun 24 and has 7 Days per page (25 pages in total) for students who like to plan daily. And… A Six Week Calendar with 6 weeks per page, Starting Jan 24 - Jun 24 (5 pages in total) for students who like to plan in less detail and have a termly over view. A4 size to print Can be enlarged to A3 to allow room for writing. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ If you find my resources useful, then please leave me some feedback. Digital Teacher Planner

Based on a traditional A4 paper planner, your Evelyna Rose digital teacher planner has everything you need to plan your teaching year. This resource is a fully hyperlinked PDF digital teacher planner. Based on the layout of your favourite paper based teacher planners, I design these planners using publishing and image editing packages. Pages can be duplicated to increase sections and your planner can be used over and over again. I have recently started to changed the designs of my planners on my website to make them more sustainable. I have removed the dated cover pages and whilst my planners still have a yearly date page for 23-24, 24-25 etc. this can easily be removed and replaced each year with a free date page insert. This creatively designed, undated digital teacher planner can be used over and over again with your favourite note-taking app. As it is undated it can be re-used every year as a brand new planner. I use my planner with the Penly app, on a Google Chromebook, but it can be used on IOS or Android. Best used with a stylus. This product can be used on desktop PDF applications like Adobe, but I can’t guarantee you will receive the same experience. As a former teacher and stationery lover, I understand how important your teacher planner is. I designed your digital teacher planner to be flexible, adaptable, and to look great. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ ABOUT YOUR PURCHASE Your digital teacher planner consists of the following sections: Personal My Details Contacts My Timetable CPD Training Memories Passwords Wish List Reading List Calendar Term Dates 23-24 Calendar Year At a Glance Next Year Meetings Briefing notes Meeting Notes Planning Term Overview Page for each of your 6 terms Each term consists of a weekly overview and a daily lesson planner Projects Project Lists Ideas Mood Board and Mind Map pages My Goals Mark Sheets 30 Marksheets (mark sheets can be duplicated with your note-taking app) Tutor Birthdays Reading Emotional Literacy Parental Communications Notes Seating Bullet dot pages +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ AFTER PURCHASING Purchase (Instant Download) Download the PDF (Access the Template) Duplicate the Template (Start Planning) +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Use: This template is sold for personal use only. Kurt Jackson Tonal Worksheet
jfello1jfello1

Kurt Jackson Tonal Worksheet

(0)
This resource combines two A3 worksheets exploring the artist Kurt Jackson. It is suitable for KS3 or KS4 students. The worksheets use the work of Kurt Jackson to explore tone, shade, contrast and chiaroscuro. Students are required to complete a tonal value scale using the boxes at the bottom of the page. I have recently updated the download to combine the two versions of this worksheet together. The activity task remains the same, but the first sheet provides information on the artist and the second requires students to research the artist using four prompt questions. This download is perfect as a starting point for exploring the work of Kurt Jackson, explaining tonal range or as a cover lesson resource. It was originally designed by myself for a demo lesson for one of my PGCE training interviews. Can be printed as A3 or A4. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ You might also find this resource on artist research a useful compliment If you find my resources useful, then please leave me some feedback. Creatures & Characters Buff Monster Art Lesson Plan

(0)
This resource is part of a wider set of art lesson plans under the umbrella of ‘Creatures and Characters.’ This set of lessons focuses on the artist Buff Monster and graffiti themes. It is aimed at KS3 students. The block of lessons explores typography and graffiti with the learning objective of creating an effective research page. There are enough slides for a 4-6 week project but it could be adapted for more or less. There are 44 Power point slides in total with starter and plenary activities as well as a homework. The Power point slides are adaptable for you to add your own learning objectives, different images etc. Each lesson starts with a introduction slide to add what you did in the previous lesson and what you will do in today’s lesson. There is a research task for students to complete using a resource from Twinkl with some interview the artist type questions. I haven’t added this as this isn’t my resource, but it was used to help students research more effectively so that they could complete an effective Buff Monster research page. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ If you’d like to see what other lesson plans re available as part of the Creatures and Characters scheme of work then the whole set can be purchased as a bundle +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ If you find my resources useful, then please leave me some feedback. Art Sketchbook Insert

(0)
This resource is a handy art sketchbook insert to be stuck into the front cover and first page of a new sketchbook. It is designed to help students keep their sketch books tidy and organised. My favourite student sketch book was discontinued and I loved the inside cover page! It allowed students to log assessment dates and targets as well as a handy section for remembering keywords and their definitions. So I decided to design my own, keeping the bits that I found useful as an art teacher. This handy reference reminds students of sketchbook expectations as well as the 7 elements of art and the colour wheel. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Print it on to an A3 sheet and then fold it to fit an A4 sketchbook or print smaller on to A4. Saved as a PDF, it includes crop marks if you want to reduce the size for sticking in. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ If you like this resource, then you might also like my KS3 sentence starter prompt sheet, to help students write in full sentences in their sketch books. Pop Art Themed Christmas Bauble Activity

(0)
This Pop Art Christmas Bauble resource is aimed at KS3 (11-14) art students but it could be used with upper KS2 too! It’s a great activity for group collaboration and to decorate your school Christmas tree as a gift from the art department. As this is a 3D based task to create a triskele bauble, it might also be useful in a DT lesson or as an after school activity. Whilst there aren’t any teaching slides with this worksheet, the task would definitely fill a 50 minute lesson or longer if students designed their own Pop Art patterns. This is a PDF printable download that consists of: 12 different Pop Art themed bauble construction sheets 1 Blank bauble construction sheet so that students can design their own Pop Art themed bauble and 1 Complete set of Instructions Materials required: Thick paper or card Glue Scissors This is based on a lesson I designed in 2020 where I asked students to design and create a Picasso Christmas bauble. The 2D baubles were stuck to green paper and then used to construct a tree wall. I have updated this for 2023 to a 3D version in the themes of Pop Art and Picasso. I also have a Picasso themed version. https://www.tes.com/teaching-resource/picasso-christmas-bauble-art-based-christmas-activity-picasso-print-or-design-your-own-12937927 And a blank version to design your own theme.
