Less teacher involvement :) Why appeasement powerpoint - include a good video to watch and a nice chart showing the different historiogrphy and perspectives on appeasement - good for essays for the higher / older students. These charts have been created to allow the students the opportunity to compare WWI, WWII, Spanish Civil War, Russian Civil War, Chinese Civil War and Vietnam War HOWEVER you could change to adapt to suit the wars in which you teach. There is also an opportunity to extend to look at the Arab-Israeli Wars. There are prompts and different activities for the students to complete the work - opportunities for discussion within groups and as a class. At least 2 lessons Revision task, or can complete as the students go through the unit.
