Here are some GCSE Religious Studies revision activities on the topic of Medical Issues but could easily be adapted for other subjects and topics.

Lesson 1. Learning mat for AS students studying the Cosmological argument. Encourage active independent learning alongside solo taxonomy. I also have a powerpoint that shows students what symbols represent and a bit more to the lesson itself. Please feedback any further ideas!

Specifically for the 'Edexcel&' specification &';Philosophy of Religion' & &'Ethics&';. Students use this worksheet to mark past essays and their peers. I then write my own comments and specific questions to address in the margin of their timed essays.

A power point for our core RE lessons on the topic of 'Community Cohesion', an edexcel Religious Studies topic. This lesson also links to recent news stories and themes (e.g. freedom of speech) relating to acts of terrorism in France 2015.

Give to A Level students to practice exam technique and apply knowledge to different exam questions. This is for the Edexcel specification but the idea could be adapted to other courses.

'Je suis Charlie' Assembly following recent attacks on Charlie Hebdo headquarters. To raise awareness of the real issues at stake in this recent story.

A lesson I used for an Ofsted observation lesson. It worked very well and generated some deep discussions. Clear progression throughout. The final slides were printed for students to organise into 'for&' and &';against' columns on their tables and to assist when answering the d) style question. This is based on the edexcel &'s specification for Unit 8 &';Religion & Society', though very adaptable for other specs.
