A bright, modern and stylish display based around ‘Reading Vipers’. A colour coded design helps students to understand and learn question stems relating to each reading question type, as well as giving them hints and suggestions to help them. This display works with the ‘Reading Vipers’ resources designed by ‘The Literacy Shed’, but is not endorsed or affiliated with them. Now Updated White version now included to save on printing costs. This is designed to be colour printed in either A4 or A3 sizes so that all lettering is visible.

Each sentence contains a title, two examples and the rule for children to follow. The sentences are displayed on stylish and retro banners with clear and legible text underneath. This display contains the Alan Peat Exciting Sentences. The sentences are available for free elsewhere online for people to access - I claim no ownership over that material. The cost for this resource is purely for the display and format of the information.

School Stuff This is a bright and attractive resource which should be displayed as part of an English display to help children to recognise the various word classes. The set includes several word classes, with a definition, an example and a breakdown of each example. The hexagons are colour coded to help children match the examples with the definitions. This resource is supplied with both a PDF version, which retains the fonts and designs as originally intended, and a powerpoint version, which you are then free to adapt to your own needs. Also included is a set of blank hexagons, should you wish to include different examples. You may wish to laminate the blank hexagons and write on examples which are suggested by the students, which can then be wiped and changed as and when you wish.
