This is an extract from the novel 'Stone Cold' which focuses on the character Shelter and his own personal perspective on homeless people. The extract includes comprehensive annotations along with additional spaces so that students can include their own interpretation to aid deeper analysis. You could use this resource to work on close analysis language skills or close analysis perspective skill. It is aimed at top set students in KS3, though could be used with lower ability students in KS4 to help them with their close analysis skills for GCSE English Language.
