I put this together to get my students ready for their end of topic test. Variety of question styles with plenty of calculations. Is a good couple of lessons work.
This is dressed up syllabus (with diagrams) and a series of exercises based upon them. These include diagrams, key words and calculations. Nothing fancy but does the job!
This is a work sheet that covers all the paper 1 calculations. The formulae are given before each section. These are aimed at 7+ students as there are multi-stage calculations which require unit manipulation and substitution. > 25 different calcs.
I took the three sciences and broke them down into their major components. These were put together using a pleasing mind mapping software. I have used these as revision for our paper 1 mock preparation. Pop onto A3 and your classes will be able to work on their own weaknesses.
That's right 1000 questions based on the Trilogy syllabus but will work equally well for Synergy or separate sciences. These have taken an age to write. The Power Point format has a question randomiser built in. It was created with the Learning Scientists work in mind. I am sure you will find this super useful over the next 5/6 years an must be good value when the sale is on. Please review.
I was asked if I would do a chemistry version of my biology resource and here it is. 338 slide of chemistry goodness. This is in a power point format with a randomiser program added. It has the learning scientist logos which is the next big thing apparently. Lots of time saved. Will update as and when I use this with classes
5 worksheets looking at the trick sums in P3. Some are text based whilst others have images from past exams. My classes are finally getting to grips with these.
This is a flash card program that I have used for years. I have broken the Y10 and Y11 biology and chemistry down into their units. Great for individual and group revision. 16 sets of cards. 16 topics. 250+ questions. Great for those with poor memory. These are fully editable. Well worth the 2 pounds.
Over 240 slides based upon Gateway past papers. Multiple choice options given.
Worked an absolute treat this year and especially with boys. Full syllabus coverage.
This is my newly put together teaching power point for the new AQA physics and trilogy electricity unit. Lots of equations!!! This will; save you lots of time.
This a power point that can be used to deliver the waves section of the new AQA. It comes in at 98 slides and will save you time. It will need tweaking for your school and personal delivery style. Assessment needs adding
I have take the stock photos from past papers and made a quiz power point. This involves a question with 1/2 possible answers to choose from. This has been very useful for those pupils who find this module tricky (all of them bar 3). I put this on the network and revision USB and let pupils go at their own pace. Lots of content in a short space of time
This took me forever! All past papers from 2011 - 2014. Images used and multiple choice / calculation / recall questions added. Through familiarity I would say once completed it would be impossible not to pass. Aimed at C grade pupils but can be upgraded. Took me 6/7 hours. Please review.
This is a power point I created inline with our new 5 minutes a lesson revision session. There are 345 questions applied to a random question generator power point. It covers every little factoid in the AQA syllabus. 10 questions at the start of every lesson. It is not broken into the topics but is in the order of the syllabus.
