These word problems are for beginning readers AND beginning problem solvers. Each word problem is on a half-sheet of paper. Students use the work space to draw a picture to help them solve the problem. Students will write an equation for each problem. Students also write the answer to the word problem. The answer is already labeled for them. Use these half-sheets for a math or morning work warm-up exercise, during your small group time, for your lesson on word problems, or send home for homework.
