It then covers deriving the units for Kc and the two types of equilibria (homogeneous and heterogeneous). The lesson closes with how to calulate Kc directly from experimental results including the use of titrations to establish concentration. The lesson includes a starter, full notes, worked examples, lots of student practice and a differentiated summary at the end All answers provided

A complete lesson covering the specification points from AQA Chemistry and Trilogy-electron structure and the periodic table. We have a knowledge rich curriculum so the lesson focuses on the key knowledge required and ensuring that students have remembered this knowledge. Various activities are included including exam practice and a do now I actively avoid photocopying so all resources are within the PPT itself All answers provided

A complete lesson covering section 6.2.2 a, b c and d of the OCR chemistry specification- amino acids, amides and chirality. The lesson starts by looking at the structure of amino acids. It then looks at the reactions of amino acids with bases, other acids and alcohol. This includes practice at drawing the structures of the various products produced. The lesson then moves to amides including the various ways of naming them. The last part of the lesson looks at chirality and the effect of different optical isomers when used in medicine. The lesson includes lots of independent tasks All answers provided I aim to actively reduce photocopying so all activities are within the PPT which is 40 slides long
