Present tense: -AR, -ER, -IR conjugation with sentence practice For each verb type, students will re-write each sentence in the template provided by writing the subject (person), stem of the verb, appropriate verb ending, and the rest of the sentence. (A structured template is provided). Note: Only regular -ar, -er, -ir verbs are used. All sentences are short, as shown in the example below. This practice is ideal for students in Spanish 1. A table with -ar, -er, -ir present tense endings is included for reference. There are 30 sentences total (10- ar, 10-er,10 -ir). Example: Yo (hablar) con José. Answer: Yo / habl /o / con José. Tú (comer) la pizza. Answer: Tú / com/ es / la pizza. Nosotros (abrir) la puerta. Answer: Nosotros / abri / mos / la puerta. Answer key is included . This practice can be used for classwork, homework, quiz, entry or exit slip (broken up into sections). Length: 6 pages (pages 1-3 are the practice pages 4-6 are the answer key)

Entrevista sobre mi niñez Interview a classmate about their childhood. Answer all questions in a complete sentence in the imperfect tense except #1 (answer in the preterit). If a question has two or more parts, be sure to answer each part. There are 18 questions total. Almost all the questions are in the tú conjugation. Example: ¿Dónde naciste tú? ¿En qué año? (Nacer: to be born; Yo nací: I was born) ¿Cómo eras tú de niño(a)? (Give 3 adjectives) ¿Dónde vivías? ¿Con quién? A second set of the same 18 questions is included on pages 2-3 with lines for student responses if teachers want to assign the questions for classwork, homework, or add them to a test / quiz.
