Created with the AQA RS GCSE specification in mind, though can be applied across specifications and qualifications. Quick and easy revision presented in a creative way! Each revision card includes definitions, teachings, the importance and an opinion question. Answers are also available on the reverse of each card for student to work independently. The final slide (with practise questions) also comes with answers using the appropriate exam technique. This incredibly fun card game revises Philosophy and Ethics: Issues of Life and Death. A take on 'Cards Against Humanity' - Cards FOR Humanity revises Religious Studies GCSE (WJEC) through a fun, competitive and interactive card game. Topics Covered (from a Christian perspective): 1. Creation (including evolution and intelligent design) 2. Environment / Animal Rights 3. Sanctity of Life 4. Quality of Life 5. Abortion 6. Euthanasia 7. Death and the Afterlife 8. Funeral Rites 9. Denominational differences, where necessary 10. Humanist perspectives Each game required three or more players to play. Rules are the same as the original game: - 7 white cards each at all times - players rotate the person who ask the question on the black card - asker chooses the winning answer - winner keeps the black card - pick up of new white cards for the players who spent a card on that round - asker rotates - winner is the player with the most black cards (correct answers) at the end of the game :) A classroom favourite of my pupils :) highly competitive! I have different games for different units. Please check out my store for other types of games and other revision units! NB: In the images, I have colour-coded my card games, which is why the cards appear green in the photos. This interactive PowerPoint aims to revise ‘random’ content through 28 different exam-style questions. My students sometimes miss the focus or don’t understand exactly what the question is asking for. So, this revision task gets them to think about the question itself and retrieve key learning associated with the question (AO1). I also ask them to make a judgement (AO2) on the essay title so as to practise both skills required for the essays. Created for the OCR specification, but can be adapted for other exam boards easily, due to the assessment objectives being the same.
