This is a fully differentiated lesson looking at our perception of tattoos and the people that have them. The lesson builds both reading and writing skills for the new functional skills level one and two reform
This is a fully differentiated lesson looking at the character of Eva Smith and how she is described by other characters within the play. The lesson also looks at the theme of responsibility and how this is presented in the play. The lesson has may opportunities for AFL and also has an exam-style question.

This is a fully differentiated, fifteen-page booklet for functional skills level one and two. This booklet has worked well on an individual basis and has also been successful in whole class teaching. The booklet covers both the reading and writing elements of the functional skills course and builds on some of the most important skills to help learners stretch and challenge themselves to achieve. The booklet also comes with an answer booklet in order to enable students to take control of their own learning and to check their understanding.

This is a simple revision game I made to help learners recall the key techniques for language and structure, using the game of bingo to help add a slight competitive edge.
