Series of lessons (approx 3) teaching pupils school subjects and recapping the present tense of AR verbs. Lots of consolidation to reinforce vocabulary. Incorporates a range of activities covering all four skill areas. Geared towards KS3. Based on the Viva 1 text book - all pictures and activities copied from the book have been removed for copyright purposes and replaced with the corresponding page numbers.

Extension lesson to follow on from introduction of school subjects. Re-caps on masculine / feminine and plural rules and looks at 1st, 2nd and 3rd person singular of the verb ESTUDIAR. The background to this is a Christmas one as this is when I taught it!

Revision of school related vocabulary and food items in the context of lunchtime at school. Includes vocab match, reading comprehension, paired writing activity with opportunity for peer assessment. Re-inforces the use of 1st person singular verbs such as como, estudio etc.

Introductory lesson to countries. Includes numbers game where teacher gives pupils a sum - tres más uno - and pupils have to write down the country that is in the box with the answer. Also looks at the present tense of IR verbs and includes a reading comprehension - teacher to make up the questions.
