**This a comprehensive a reading list for the Geography Edexcel A-level course (Units 1, 2 and 3). **Happy to answer any questions (jacobspong@gmail.com) and if you enjoy this resource a review would be amazing. Check out my other resources… ** Containing a range of resources to enable pupils to flip learn prior to lessons, it is designed to present a more engaging way of picking up subject knowledge than a traditional reading this. However, of the 40 or so resources, articles do account for over 50% of the material and these have be edited to a high quality. This resource has been used to great effect over the past two years within my department and can easily be set as homework Students are asked the to undertake the following: Task Outline - For each article; photo; clip or documentary you must complete the following: Complete a glossary with definitions. Summarize the resource in less than 100 words (try to include your whole glossary). Complete a flashcard that represents this learning (these will be used next year, so they are an investment). Optional - Create and answer an exam question for this resource.

Geography: How do Humans Live with Earthquakes? (Edexcel B, Tectonics, Hazardous) This Unit follows the Edexcel B syllabus but has been design to be part of a three year GCSE course. As a result this could be delivered at both KS3 and KS4. This unit is created in line with my personal passion for tectonic hazards in the developing world. This Unit is my favorite to deliver and has been streamlined over the last two years. This SoW work has been differentiated, with with both support and challenge throughout. Retrieval Practice and Duel Coding Theory are incorporated and as well as regular links to other parts of the syllabus, this is in line to my recent academic readings. Geographical and numeracy skill have been planned for. Happy to answer questions and any feedback welcome… thegeographyshoporiginal@gmail.com SoW: L1: What is the structure of the earth?
