Drag Forces friction and air resistance

(0)
A resource containing a comprehensive powerpoint slideshow that will allow for learners to learn about drag forces friction and air resistance. Tasks are differentiated to suit the needs of each learner. Progress checks take place after each success criteria to measure the progress of learners. By the end of the lesson students should be able to: Learning objective: Develop an understanding of how drag forces affect the movement of an object. Success criteria: Identify 2 drag forces. Describe how drag forces affect objects. Explain why air resistance and friction can be useful and a nuisance. This lesson contains 22 slides

Section 3 Waves Revision poster Physics combined IGCSE

(0)
A revision poster that includes material needed for section 3 of the edexcel iGCSE combined science double award physics. Section 3 Waves A blank copy for students to fill in is also included for students to test their knowledge. I would recommend to print these in A3 and guide the students through the answers using the completed revision poster attached. Due to the amount of detail needed to squeeze into one poster, the font is small in some sections which might need some further zooming in on presenting devices.

Revision posters iGCSE Edexcel Physics (double / combined)

8 Resources
A collection of 8 posters that cover the entire specification in terms of physics for the Pearson edexcel combined science international GCSE (9-1) double award. All sections 1-8 are included There is an issue currently on TES that doesn’t allow for me to attach section 1 - this should be included and can be emailed to any purchaser - I will email TES to resolve this ASAP.

Investigating Fuels

(1)
Aimed toward BTEC Applied Science Unit 3 - Investigating Fuels, risks of fuels and Units of energy. By the end of the lesson learners should be able to: Identify independent and dependent variables. Describe how to write a method concerning the burning of fuels. Explain why repeatability and reliability are important factors within experiments.
Vector diagrams (Free body diagrams)
hbscienceresourceshbscienceresources

Vector diagrams (Free body diagrams)

(0)
All features work when used with google slides. All features should work with PowerPoint, but might need some rearranging. By the end of the lesson learners should be able to: Solve to identify resultant forces. Describe how a resultant force affects the object. Create free body diagrams / vector diagrams.

Cell Specialisation Level 3 Applied Science BTEC

(0)
Resource was intended for BTEC Applied Science Unit 1 Biology. The resource was designed on google slides and should work fine on powerpoint, it might just need some rearranging. An information hunt based activity including a blank table for printing. Past paper questions are included with the relevant mark scheme answers following. By the end of the lesson learners should be able to: Identify different specialised cells: Palisade, root hair, sperm, egg, red blood cell and white blood cell. Describe the function of these specialised cells. Explain the reasoning why each specialised cell has its features.

Emission Spectra Unit 1 Physics Applied Science BTEC

(0)
This lesson was created for unit 1 BTEC Applied Science physics. It contains past paper questions and answers relevant to the material covered. By the end of the lesson learners should be able to: Identify and link absorption, promotion and demotion, emission. Describe how gaseous materials can be made to show emission spectra. Explain why different colours are seen in the emission spectrum. Video links are embedded in the slides on google sheets, therefore, the resource would work optimally on google sheets as opposed to powerpoint.
