The Periodic Table of Elements

(2)
The Periodic Table is a list of all the different elements. The elements are categorised into groups that have similar properties. The elements are listed in order of their atomic number. This is the number of protons in the nucleus of each atom. The atomic mass of the most abundant isotope of each element is also shown on the table. The elements are grouped as Alkali Metals, Alkaline Earth Metals, Transition Metals, Holgens and Nobel Gases. The table shows the symbol, element name, atomic number, atomic symbol and realtive atomic mass.
